get running

Currently Sadie is parked in my garage. She recently had some oil leaks fixed, timing belt replaced, and exhaust replaced; now she needs to go to the shop as she isn't running properly anymore. The estimated costs are around $2,300 (but we all know how that can sometimes quickly double). I am working with a shop in southern Colorado Springs and would like to have her back on the road by the end of summer.

HARDTOP

Since purchasing Sadie from her previous owners (who were awesome) the soft top that they have put on it has been a pain in the ass. It's stitching is pulled so tight that it's coming undone. I have gone to places that do alterations and checked to see if they could do a repair for me. However, no one wants to do the work. I started repairing it on my own out of need and thought about purchasing another soft top as they run in the $300 range. It's just that when they only really last about a year and a half the better choice becomes getting a hard top that shouldn't have to replaced and come with a life time warranty. The cost is this plus shipping which can run up to $500 additional.
